This website has been created to inform all residents of the role of the Parish Council in line with Transparency. Within this website is all the information covering all aspects of Council business and general information about the village.

Maintenance and provision of the street lights.

Maintenance of the War Memorial.

Monitoring emptying of the dog fouling bins.

Administration for three pieces of land owned by the Former Highways Surveyor's Land Charity (parish council as Trustee) within the village.

Providing comments for Planning Applications affecting the village.

Reporting of incidents relating to Highways and Highways Rangers tasks.

Parish Council
The Parish Council has seven members, all living in the village. Gooderstone is the third tier of local government, the other two being Breckland District Council and Norfolk County Council.
We warmly invite everyone to come to the Parish Council Meetings, usually held bi-monthly and on the second Monday of the month; dates are found on this website. Meetings are held on Zoom and start at 7.00pm.
Please note due to Coronavirus outbreak restrictions, physical meetings may not take place but virtual Zoom attendance will be available. Please check the Meetings page for Agendas.
