Planning
Parish councils have the right to make comments on planning applications affecting their village, with the overall planning application decision taken by Breckland Borough Council.

Breckland Borough Council normally allow the Parish Council a 21 day period to submit a response to all relevant planning applications. When a response is required before a Parish meeting, in this case all Councillors will be notified to either view paper copies held by the Clerk or to access Breckland Council, planning applications website, or an Extra Ordinary Meeting is called by the Chairman.
The Parish Council takes full consideration of every application within the planning criteria before submitting to Breckland Borough Council. All comments including the Parish Council can be found on Breckland’s Planning pages
